I have a very small home office/studio. I don't actually use it that often YET...I seems it is just not quite right yet. Unfortunately it is kinda small and i have not invested enough time and thought into organizing all of the things that I need to make it work for me. I like all the things in it, i like the colours...i think it is actually the desk/s...hmmm. H2 get a better worktable! I'll update when I have figured it out.
A Collaborative Workspace. I have always dreamed of working with people I enjoy spending time with, I am blessed that I currently live this dream. I work with 3 other amazing art educators and we get to share an office space every day. At the outset of our school year, we spent a lot of time talking about all the things we wanted fro a work space and got busy making it happen. We purchased a mini fridge, coffee maker, a kettle, a salt rock lamp, a chakra banner to name a few items. We pushed our desks together so we could plan and dream up our next projects together. Over our desks (large 7 foot long tables) x 3 there are 3 pendant lamps that we picked up at IKEA. They make our worktable feel like a dining room and they remind us and our students of billowing clouds. Our office is also the supply room where we keep all of the materials we use for our classes. The office space opens to 2 of the 3 studio classrooms and is also attached to a clay room where we keep our kiln. We use rolling carts to move materials in and our of the classrooms. we have a mini fridge, coffee maker and another more private, single workspace in the event you need to separate yourself from the pack. The window in the photo looks out into a classroom so you can work and observe kids in the studio.
